Platform Rules
Guidelines for using the RomX platform.
General Rules
- Be respectful to other developers and users at all times.
- No spam, self-promotion outside of your own uploads, or advertising.
- Use English or Arabic as the primary language for all content.
- Do not create multiple accounts to bypass restrictions.
- Follow all instructions from moderators and admins.
Upload Guidelines
- Only upload ROMs, kernels, recoveries, or modules that you have built or maintain.
- Provide accurate device compatibility information.
- Include a detailed description with features, known bugs, and installation steps.
- Use legitimate and safe download links (SourceForge, GitHub, Google Drive, etc.).
- Include checksums (MD5/SHA256) for security verification.
- Mark the correct stability status (Stable, Beta, Alpha).
- Update your releases regularly and mark discontinued projects accordingly.
Prohibited Content
- No stolen ROMs or re-uploads of other developers work without permission.
- No malware, spyware, adware, or harmful modifications.
- No pirated content, cracked apps, or copyright violations.
- No NSFW, offensive, or discriminatory content.
- No link shorteners with forced ads.
- No cryptocurrency miners hidden in ROMs or modules.
Community Guidelines
- Provide constructive feedback in comments and reviews.
- Do not harass, bully, or target other developers.
- Report bugs and issues respectfully through proper channels.
- Do not impersonate other developers or organizations.
- Help newcomers and share knowledge freely.
Enforcement
- First violation: Warning and content removal.
- Second violation: 7-day temporary ban.
- Third violation: Permanent ban from the platform.
- Severe violations (malware, scams) result in immediate permanent ban.
- All decisions can be appealed by contacting admin@romx.dev.
